Coding Academy

This academy looks to develop the basic skills necessary to make it in the world of computer programming, a rapidly developing and innovative field with an even faster expanding job market. Using Python programming language, understand the role that computation can play in solving programs and accomplishing goals. In this class you will: demonstrate programing skills using computer architecture and data representations (variables, representation of numbers, and character strings); identify and define computer science concepts and terminology; and employ basic algorithmic problem-solving techniques (decision structures, loops, and functions). Get a head start as you learn programming with Python to up your competitiveness in this expanding field. Note: Students must bring a laptop with them to use during this academy.
