Course Description
This engaging course prepares high school students to excel as golf caddies, opening doors to rewarding summer and weekend job opportunities at golf clubs across the country. Students will learn essential golf knowledge and customer service skills that make successful caddies, creating a perfect foundation for well-paying work that fits around their academic schedule.
Combining classroom learning with hands-on practice at local golf courses, students will expand their understanding of the fundamentals of golf, course navigation, and exceptional service. Students will master the art of reading greens, understanding course layout and strategy, and providing value to golfers of all skill levels. To apply their learning, students will put their skills to practice on the green by enacting different roles during practice sessions. Through hands-on training with experienced caddies and golf professionals, participants will further develop a deep understanding of golf etiquette, learn to anticipate players' needs, and gain the confidence to navigate any course's unique characteristics and challenges.
